+ Foster Program Manager
Working in collaboration with coworkers and volunteers, two Foster Program Managers lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of MPR foster programs. These individuals must exemplify our Muddy Paws values of being Positive, Welcoming, Supportive, and Responsive. This role is critical to ensuring that dogs are safely placed in foster homes and receive the care, support, and advocacy they need on their journey to adoption.
The Foster Program Manager is a resilient problem solver who can manage multiple, simultaneous, high-pressure priorities with composure. They demonstrate high emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a steady, solutions-oriented approach in fast-changing and often unpredictable environments. They remain calm under pressure, take things in stride, and navigate complex, often emotionally charged situations with professionalism, maturity, and compassion.
The Foster Program Manager works weekends and evening shifts as needed, both from home and in-person at our Manhattan headquarters. This is a full-time salaried exempt position with a starting salary of $73,000 - $75,000 plus generous health benefits, 401(k) match, and other pet care-related perks.
