Muddy Paws Rescue Receives $75k Grant from PetSmart Charities® to Help More Homeless Pets Find Homes in New York City
New York, NY – 12/8/22 – Muddy Paws Rescue has received a $75,000 grant from PetSmart Charities to help prepare more shelter dogs in New York City for adoption and ensure they are ready to find loving homes.
Muddy Paws Rescue strives to be New York City’s leader in responsible, foster-based practices. They partner with open-intake shelters across the country and with a dedicated team of staff, fosters, volunteers and animal welfare advocates, have placed thousands of dogs in loving homes since their inception in 2016.
“This crucial funding will alleviate our expenses in spay and neuter surgeries, basic medical care, vaccinations, behavioral training, foster and volunteer support, and related supplies,” said Lisa Blum, Development Director for Muddy Paws Rescue. “It also enables the rescue of senior dogs and those with more significant medical needs.”
